Shan was irreplaceable in our 1st time buying experience of our Manhattan apartment. His passion for working in real estate was undeniable and his enthusiasm for working with 1st time buyers was especially meaningful to us as we needed a lot of hand-holding. Furthermore, I believe his unique blended skill-set of both soft and hard skills is unmatched. In my opinion, we pushed Shan to every limit of real estate brokerage capabilities whether that was answering the most basic of introductory questions, to agreeing to way too many apartment showings (I would estimate that we saw nearly 50 condos and coops!), to being patient with our comfort in submitting offers, to guiding us through strategy of a competitive offer process, to educating us through the finest print in the closing documents, to expertly filling the shoes of our legal counsel when they could not appear at closing due to personal emergency, and even following up with us well after settling into our new home. I don’t write reviews, however, this one is well warranted. I imagine that we were not the easiest client with how much guidance and specification we needed, but Shan stepped up to every complication, and made our dreams come true on our now beloved residence.
Shan recently helped me to lease out my co-op studio in LIC furnished. The process was more complicated than what I expected due to various restrictions lifted by the management company as well as the board. On top of that, the tenant has an international background, which made the approval process more difficult. In spite of all that, Shan went through hoops and extra miles to get issues resolved and followed through till the tenant moved in. I really appreciate his knowledge and professionalism. Highly recommend Shan!
